In 2020, we embarked on an exciting journey as a husband-and-wife duo, determined to create a business that caters to trading card enthusiasts and offers a top-notch middleman grading service. Juggling our busy family life, we set out to establish a close partnership with Beckett Grading Services, becoming the first UK & EU intermediary to deliver collectors, sellers, and buyers a seamless, hassle-free grading experience in collaboration with this renowned US-based organization.
With a passion for trading cards and a commitment to excellence, we set our sights on bridging the gap between collectors and Beckett Grading Services. Our goal is to empower collectors in the UK & EU with easy access to professional and reliable grading services, unlocking the true potential of their prized collections.
As an official intermediary for PSA, Beckett (BGS), CGC Grading and SGC, you send us your cards, and we take care of getting them to the grader for grading. Once graded, we ensure they’re returned to you securely. By choosing us as your go-to service, you save time and money, with the added peace of mind knowing your cards are protected under our care.

DIRECTOR
John grew up in the 90s. As a 90s kid, he was there when Pokémon hit the scene and with thanks to his mother, grew a substantial card collection. He kept them in excellent condition… he clearly knew Pokémon was here to stay.
After John left school, he worked in Sales & Recruitment roles across several different industries. He stumbled upon his collection after rummaging through his old things and soon enough he was back in the Pokémon world.
John established Black Label Grading with his partner, Vicky, to help fellow trading card collectors, buyers and sellers access Beckett grading services easily.
DIRECTOR
Vicky studied Chemistry at University and then went on to work in Marketing. Yes, it was often the first topic of conversation in an interview and she will often argue the two are in fact linked. “Marketing is full of analysis… much like Chemistry”. You won’t be burning holes in your clothes or accidently making cyanide when managing a marketing department however!
Vicky shares the same vision as her husband and has ambitious plans for the company. Her background means all our communications are clear, transparent and customer centric.
EU AFFILIATE
Connor heads up our EU Hub from Holland.
Connor partnered with Black Label Grading to manage non-UK submissions in April 2022. His passion for the trading card industry can be seen through his dedication and commitment to the community he leads via his shinynightfury Instagram account.
His reputation and loyalty to the industry means he is the perfect fit for expanding our operation to the European market.

Back in school, I got swept up in the Pokémon card craze. As the teenage years rolled in, my interest waned, but fast forward to adulthood, I found myself wanting to share a piece of my childhood with my son Leo, reigniting that old spark for Pokémon. This wasn’t just a trip down memory lane; it became a whole new journey.
Ten years later and here I am, fully immersed in the Pokémon universe. What started as a hobby has transformed into my full-time career, leading me to run multiple businesses within the collectibles market. And now, as a new BLG Affiliate, I will be managing all things PSA and I’m excited to bring even more to the community that reignited my passion and helped me turn it into a thriving career.
