So you want to send your precious trading card collectibles to us? First of all, let us say how thrilled we are to receive them! But before you do, we’ve got some hot tips on the do’s and don’ts of sending your cards to ensure their safe arrival and minimal handling.
1. Use Clear Penny Sleeves
First things first, penny sleeves are your best friend. Not only do they protect your cards from dust, but they also help your cards slip into a top loader or semi-rigid. And speaking of penny sleeves, please make sure they are clear to comply with our insurance requirements. We need to take pictures of all cards, front and back, and funky sleeves (although cool to look at) won’t cut it.
2. Limit Tape!
We totally understand the urge to keep your cards secure, but please go easy on the tape. Duct tape and gorilla tape are a no go but masking tape is allowed, but let’s not go overboard. And for the love of all things holy, don’t tape individual cards into your top loaders. It’ll make us swear like sailors when we open your package! If you must use tape, masking tape is the way to go. It’s much easier to remove and doesn’t leave a sticky residue.
3. Semi-Rigids – Your Best Friend
Next up, semi-rigids are the way to go. We do accept top loaders, but sending the card in a semi-rigid means we don’t have to touch your cards at all.
4. Streamline Your Packaging
Now, we know you love a good game of pass the parcel at parties, but let’s not bring that to the workplace. Streamlining your packaging with a bubble mailer and cardboard on either side of your protected cards will save you some money on postage and help us out with processing times!
5. Order Numbers on the Label
Last but not least, make sure to put your order number on the package label. It’ll make it a breeze for us to identify your parcel and update you on its arrival. Trust us; we love efficiency!
